California: Good news is on its way.

The Middle-Class Tax Refund is a one-time payment to provide assistance to 23 million Californians for high cost of living crisis as a one-time inflation-relief.

• Eligible Californians will automatically receive a payment.

• Expect the payments between October 2022 and January 2023.

• The payment will be up to $1,050 based on tax filing status, income and size of household.

• The payment is meant to help people with food & gas, could be used to pay rent, student loan etc.
